We serve proper pints and half pints here at the pub, the latter being referred to as a "half". What is the plural of this, as when someone orders two halfs? Or is that halves? Or half's?

My editor and beer writer vote is for "halfs". It's non-standard anyway, so it's untapped for a proper definition. It rolls off the tongue. "A pint of Union Dew for me, and two halfs for the ladies."
Definitely "halfs". As irritating as the word "beers" is, I have to admit its usefulness. And if I admit "beers", then I have to admit "halfs".
